On Sunday 28 September a river of people will wind its way from the Cascine Park to Piazza della Signoria: women and men of all ages, families, groups of friends and colleagues will participate in the event, colouring Florence.
Participants will be able to choose between two routes of varying difficulty—one of approximately 11 km for those who want to run, and one of 6 km for those who prefer to enjoy the many cultural destinations along the way.
Corri la Vita will offer everyone the chance to spend a unique weekend in Florence: over the course of the weekend, participants will have free access to some of the city's most beautiful sites, including the Opera di Santa Croce, the Palazzo Vecchio Museum, the Santa Maria Novella Museum, the Museo Novecento, the Forte di Belvedere, the Stibbert Museum, the Pecci Center, and many others. Among this year's destinations, special mention goes to Palazzo Strozzi, with its recently inaugurated exhibition "Beato Angelico," and the Church of San Salvatore al Vescovo in Piazza dell'Olio, as well as the courtyard of Palazzo Gondi in Piazza San Firenze, the brand-new Piazza Maria Callas, built on the site of the Teatro Comunale, and, for the little ones, the H ZERO Museum.
